The school has great teachers and extracurricular activities to get involved in. The only thing I would say they need to work on is telling the students more about the extracurriculars that aren't just centered around athletics. They have great classes if you are looking for tech programs, nursing, agriculture, business, etc. You just have to look for them yourselves and express to the school the importance they have for you. They offer multiple duel credit courses as well as AP. The school is well-balanced academically. Yes, it has a small-town feel to the school, but it offers great things for incoming students.
The faculty here is inspiring, relaxed and open to new ideas. They've made sure and continue to make sure that every student has the opportunity they need to continue their education after high school. The student population is growing rapidly though, and I feel the school could do better with adapting to the influx of kids. Additionally, as an artist, I wish they could've put more money into the visual arts programs. Better materials, more room, and more opportunities for aspiring students wanting to pursue an art career.
The engineering program was extremely underfunded, but there seems to be changes going on that might make that better. The school is very strict on dress code and will send students to in school suspension for any dress code violations including not being clean shaven. The teachers are great though, and teach in an engaging manner.
