Ball Chatham Community Unit School District No. 5 Reviews
We currently have two kids within the district. This district would benefit greatly from having community programs within their schools. The larger neighboring district has many opportunities for their students to help them in their future career paths. Specficially, they have a physician pipeline preparatory program and schools within schools. Ironically, Chatham also has larger class sizes than average which is concerning, especially when academics is the main reason many move into this district. If the schools continue to have larger class sizes, families will move their kids elsewhere. Academics is not something that can be sacrificed and some of the students have many needs which can be overwhelming for a teacher with an already large class size.
Glenwood prepared me for a successful college experience. If you express interest and aren't afraid to work hard, the teachers will go out of their way to help. I wish there were more active clubs.
I love my school. My teachers are great. I especially love my history classes and band. I am excited to attend Glenwood High School next year.
