The educational opportunities are really impressive, beneficial and positive in this district. Tons of AP, honors and college classes are available on the junior high and high school grade levels. There are also a plethora of clubs and sports to participate in, as well as special events like the annual talent shows, Sportsnite and Intramural Nite. In addition, the music programs here are quite impressive. Another awesome thing about Baldwin is the diversity. The building is quite large, the food is pretty decent and most teachers really do care about their jobs. One down side to the district is the outdated ness of some facilities, like many of the water fountains, bathrooms and classroom desks. However, that’s a minor detail as we have a gym with up to date equipment, a few updated water fountains, as well as Smart and Epson Boards! Overall, the learning experience in this district is wonderful, and if you work hard you won’t regret your time here.

Extremely involved administrators and teachers. College preparatory school, offers multiple learning modalities, constantly evolving to enhance education, culture, and life outside the classroom. Many AP courses, internships and learning experiences that begin at the elementary school levels. I’d like to see international foreign language trips and Latin classes offered at the elementary school levels.
The most rewarding part of being a student at Baldwin Senior High School was always the extracurricular activities; in particular, the school's theatre program did its best to put on three phenomenal shows each year. I have very fond memories of painting the set and doing props for the musical with the help of passionate teacher-advisors. That's why it's so unfortunate that the school musical is the first thing to be cut from the budget every year; when I was a senior, we had to fundraise for months and months because the district did not pass its budget. As far as I know, this has been a concern for students in the following years as well. It's a shame.
