We love this small town—with a child on the spectrum, the majority of teachers, administrators and members of the community have shown sensitivity and support of our situation. There will always be people who judge, but I’ve found great acceptance in Baldwin and wouldn’t want to raise my kids anywhere else!

The schools in Baldwin City reflect the wonderful small community they serve. No complaints here. We are so glad we moved here from Overland Park 5 years ago!
I transferred into Baldwin high school my freshman year an couldnt be more happy with my decision to change schools. Baldwin has allowed me to have more advanced placement classes and to take college courses during my junior and senior years. I have made some amazing friends and have enjoyed my time at Baldwin high. Going to Baldwin also allowed me to play soccer and find a passion I never knew I had. The teachers have been beneficial in helping me prepare for my college future. The counselor I have had at Baldwin has been with me since my freshman year and really has gotten to know my goals.
