Communication within schools is TERRIBLE. Also, the high school only has two Spanish classes... many universities REQUIRE 3 or 4. They have a few AP and Honors classes, and some (but not many) college level classes. So that's nice. They also have BTI (Baker Technical Institute) where people can learn things like construction and welding, so that's nice for people interested in that sort of thing. Altogether though, I don't have a very high opinion of this school district, but it does have some upsides!

I had attended the baker school district from grade K through 12th and I can definitely say that it had improved greatly throughout the years and is continuing to do so. A majority of the faculty is very friendly and helpful, always allowing and encouraging their students to thrive.
Ever since I got accepted into this school I've had the support and help that i have needed. My counselor is amazing. Every time I contact her she's responsive and concerned about my every need. I wish I could have found out about this school when I first began high school. The program they have is amazing; they allow high school students to attend local community colleges, so they earn both college and high school credits at the same time. Attending this school is the best way to prepare for college because you'll have a great team supporting you along your journey.
