As a Trans person this school makes me want to run away and never come back. The amount of money and influence has left the island a drug fueled teen wonderland.
However the education you wil receive on the Island is the best you can possibly get. I know more about most things then other people my age. Along with the huge amount of community service you can do makes my heart feel better.
The educators are hit or miss on Bainbridge. Some are the smartest people I've met but can not teach for the life of them. And the ability to go follow your interests is huge because Bainbridge works with multiple trade schools and colleges to keep students interested and going to school.

Fantastic academics, but definitely some issues. Issues include a drug problem, the football team sucks and very little diversity. But overall, there is not much more you could possibly ask for from a public school. A little bit of preppy rich white kid vibes, which can make people feel left out. Lastly one of the things that come with the good academics is the heavy focus on grades instead of learning. Students often will be forced to just get an A instead of truly learning the material.
I've had a wonderful experience with most of my teachers, you can tell that they genuinely care about my education and general well-being. However, this school does not have nearly any diversity and isn't very accommodating to those who are mentally or physically ill. I had a severe concussion due to a soccer injury and had to fight for the right to have the accommodations that were needed and recommended by a licensed neurologist and neuropsychologist.
