Azusa Unified School District Reviews
Thank you to all Azusa Unified personnel for helping to so efficiently organize the closure of our school. My son came home educated with accurate information regarding the Corona Virus. His teacher, Mrs. Sommers, took the time to give the class needed life skills to cope with the current virus. Thank you, Mrs. Sommers and to all district personnel that made this pandemic less chaotic. Assignments are posted on the district's website with PDF support if needed. As a parent, thank you all for your dedication to providing our children with the tools they will need to stay current with their studies during the school closures. God bless...Azusa Unified. It is obvious that great collaboration took place to close our schools calmly and professionally. To all the people behind the scenes to prep student's assignments...thank you!!!
I admired how AUSD was a district that valued talented students regardless if the students were a part of sports, academics, clubs, or music and arts. However, I would have to say there was little to no interaction between the parents and district. Personally, it didn't seem that the district would put much effort into wanting that connection amongst their students and parents, unfortunately.
The teachers are very inspiring and really want the best for you they always are making sure you pass their class but the administrators don’t really listen they are cutting teachers and don’t make us feel very heard and don’t really take our voices into consideration. We lost a lot of our favorite teachers this year and we can’t do anything about it. Facilities are pretty clean not horrible and I feel safe there with all the security walking around consistently I feel like nothing will happen. Our school spirit could improve but we have definitely been doing better since last year we have grown to support our school more and feel proud of our sports teams and other extracurricular activities like dance winning and band and choir it makes us feel better about our school
