The faculty and staff at Azle ISD is exceptional. The teachers and administrative staff work hard every day to ensure every student is safe and getting the proper education at our schools. School safety can be a very big deal these days, and I am confident that Azle ISD does the most to ensure student safety. One downfall is that we are considered a small town, but our schools tell a different story. Hallways can become very crowded as well as lunch tables. Another issue that is present is our school's diversity. I feel that we are not a very diverse school at all. I would love to see that change. Our sports programs are amazing and every athlete feels appreciated. I am proud to be from Azle.
I love the atomosphere of a small town school. I feel connected to my classmates and my teachers. We cheer on our football team on Friday nights and get pumped for other sports related activities. The classes are challenging, while the teachers are kind and helpful. The class sizes are small enough to where everyone gets a fair share of attention and instruction. Overall, our academics and athletics really keep the community engaged. Just last year, our cheerleading team won the inaugural UIL Spirit competition for 5A-6A Large Co-Ed! Pride swarmed the school and the community. This is only one example of how our school and community are united and supportive of each other.
My experience through going to the Azle Independent School District from kindergarten all the way to a senior in high school has been great. In my opinion Azle gives you many opportunities to apply yourself to the things you want to be in, they always give you a choice on what you want to do with your life and they support it always. I had a lot of chances to move around through different courses so i could find what was right for me.
