Despite the recent turnovers in teachers here, I truly do love my education that I'm getting. The Humanities department is definitely my favorite, and I have many-a-friend in band. I love just about every teacher in my school schedule and I like the way the schedule is structured, with A days and B days. Extracurricular schedules are done well enough that I can play my sport and do another activity within the same season. Something that I would like to see change is the amount of unsatisfactory teachers that have been coming in as a result of teacher turnover. For example, my sophomore year there was a terrible chemistry teacher, and administration could not find another teacher. Thankfully the next year this issue was fixed, but my class left that year with little knowledge of chemistry. This does not happen every time turnover occurs, but it is a concern.

The school is so small, that's the only downside. But it is also a plus because you are able to get close and connect with your teachers easily!
I loved ASRHS and my whole time there. There are always ways to get involved, whether it’s athletics, drama, band/choir, robotics and everything in between.
