The Avon School district is a very good district. I got a great education and was well-prepared for college. Most teachers are great and really care about their students. Other teachers aren't suited to teach but have tenure. The students are mostly nice but very cliquey. There are many clubs and activities to participate in, and we have a good arts program in comparison to other towns. There is some variety in classes and overall it is easy to take classes you are interested. The new high school internship program is a great opportunity.
The Avon School District is very competitive and is well-known for churning out excellent students. Local colleges look for Avon students--even commonly-applied-to out of state colleges. Something I would change about the Avon School District is the amount of homework given. It doesn't always prove success and I wish they would realize that more work doesn't always equal a better student.
