Aurora Public Schools Reviews
The Aurora Public School District is a great place to earn a diploma. Personally, I went to William Smith High School, a school of whom has a motto, "We don't just prepare you for college, we prepare you for life." I have only went to this school for one year, and benefited better academic and social skills. We particularly have core virtues that impact our daily lives, one of which is self and community awareness, this is a tool that our school often expresses deeply within its students by incorporating news into their lectures. During the fall semester in 2016, the school had an entire class dedicated to the 2016 election, and the school paid for subscriptions to the New York Times for each student in that class. these are the simple things that make the Aurora Public District an outstanding place of opportunity.
I attended APS from kindergarten until my senior year. Every single employee and volunteer wanted us to succeed in academics, sports, and our future endeavors. I can't thank the faculty enough for such a great experience and for truly preparing me for the future.
My experience at my high school varied through the years. There were ups and downs. The teachers here are normally very helpful and supportive of their students; it's obvious to see how much the teachers really care about the well being of their students. Although there is some cases of bullying, usually anything like that is taken care of within a couple days of reporting it. This high school is a very small one though; it's not very diverse, which I wish I could change. One of the best things of school here is our principal. He's very friends and positive and says hi to almost every student each morning. I only ever hear positive feedback about him from the students and it's just amazing to that no one really has anything bad to say about him; he's genuinely liked.
