I had a quite diverse experience in Aurora Public Schools. I met an abundance of people from different backgrounds and cultures. I was also given academic opportunities to get a head start on my college education, such as advanced placement classes and concurrent enrollment classes.

I love the Aurora Public Schools District, yet I wish we had more school funding from the government. There are many things that are wrong with school districts all over America, yet no district can be perfect. The APS school district is an amazing place and as an immigrant, I feel at home in the school I currently attend.
I have grown up attending schools in this district ever since I was in kindergarten. However, a part of me strongly wishes I hadn't. I feel like there aren't many opportunities for students of all ages to succeed in academics, sports, or extra-curricular activities. I also feel like students don't get their voice heard as much as we should.
