Going to East Aurora High school as a freshman was totally a hard challenge for me just like it is to any other freshman. Something that helped me over come my challenge was band, I made amazing friends and i easily got involved in many activities such as football games, basketball games, competitions etc. One thing I like about East is that if you hang out with the right people, you will have a good high school experience and East Aurora does have a lot of amazing people. Something that I would like to change about this school is to get parents involved in the children's education, I believe that your parent getting involve will make a big impact in their studies/education

At East Aurora High School, I have met many amazing teachers who have built me up from my mistakes. I have to say that the education is on par with other schools, but they have just added new ones like mandarin. I believe education falls among the relationship between the teacher and the student, and I really(for the most part) had amazing teachers. The hallways of the school needs a little work, however, to beter regulate the traffic of students. This can be said about the facilities at the school as well, they can also be improved by daily check ups and repairment of the facilities themselves.
My credibility of this piece should be justified as I have been attending schools in D131 my whole school career. My experience during my career has been incredible. The teachers are very caring, academics are emphasized greatly. The population that attends D131 are mainly made up of low-income students which then affects our food and safety. The food at this district is upsetting, but it's a working progress. Safety is a concern around here, but as long as you're involved in extracurricular then you'll be surrounded by good students. Overall, the district does a great job of caring for the students and the spots where they need to improve are progressing positively.
