My daughter attended Athens City Schools and received a quality education that not only prepared her well for college, but she used her dual enrollment classes to gain a whole year of college credit. Great teachers and staff! We really appreciated the family atmosphere of the entire system!

I've enjoyed creating many friendships at Athens High School. The teachers are very hard-working and deserve so much. I personally think some of the administration needs to change or improve. I also think our school could encourage students to come to school more and to teach students how to study in preparation for college. Other than a few minor complaints, my school is a safe and enjoyable place to have a high school experience.
I like how available they made things, especially for seniors. They played a major role in college readiness. The teachers are always available with any and everything. Athens City Schools are excellent with clubs and activities as well. My high school is very diverse and all the students seem to get along well. would to see Athens City Schools improve on traffic violations and caution procedures.
