Ashland High School is a very welcoming school district. The staff are excellent and are interested in giving the best in each student. I would like to see more involvement with two of the counselors. I have heard that they are not on top of things like my counselor is. The school is currently under construction to update the building, but I feel like some of the accessories that are being added is unnecessary. Overall a great school.
I currently attend Ashland University. They are a great school that has offered me numerous resources for my future career including: close proximity to home, financial support, and great college educators to prepare me for my future career.
All of the teachers are pretty good, but currently they are debating teacher salaries with threats of a teacher protest. There are a lot of different classes that are offered, and there are honors/gifted classes for more advanced students. The district just built some new buildings; however, the high school is under remodel for the next couple of years because it is an old building.
