I have had a great experience with the band program at Argyle. It feels like a family, and it is a very great group of people who have become some of my closest friends. A negative aspect of Argyle is that the district is not very diverse, nor extremely accepting of diversity. In addition, because it is small town Texas, the district puts a huge emphasis on football, but not as much attention is given to other activities, including academics.
I am a senior at Argyle High School. This is my first year at Argyle, I recently moved from Denver, Colorado. Argyle High School is fantastic with its academics and school sports. The reputation is a very important piece to the school but is never valued more than student safety.
