Arcadia High School is a student-centered public high school that advocates mental health in correlation grades, yet still exceeds the standards of average public high schools. Although the student population is majorly Asian, I believe our school gradually becoming more diverse to create a more inclusive environment. Arcadia High supports its students with numerous opportunities such as work experience through its retail marketing program and offers a myriad of clubs and activities for students to engage in during lunch and outside of school. Teachers here focus on academics with true understanding and relevance to the real world--preparing students on how to assert the knowledge and education we gain in the classroom on real word issues. A change I would suggest is investing in financial literacy education, making it a more represented and more informative program. Overall, Arcadia High invests with the purpose of enriching students' lives with better opportunities and experiences.

Arcadia High School has too many students. There are around 3,800 kids and it is very competitive. The students are constantly trying to be the best and it is hard to not get discouraged when everyone believes that school is a competition. The wide variety of extra-curricular activities on campus are very nice and the school offers clubs that are unheard of anywhere else. The location, campus, and classrooms are state of the art, you´re not going to find anything better. I would say that Arcadia High could use some more school spirit!
At AUSD I was able to become the hard worker I am today. The rigorous courses and the dedication of all the teachers and staff have allowed me to blossom into a rose of knowledge with ambitious goals. The competitive air kept me on my toes at all times for any opportunities that may arise for joining a new activity or for expounding upon my existing ones. The one small concern is that this competitive atmosphere can be too much at times. But it’s nothing a little positivity and optimism can’t fix!
