I love the Appleton Area School District. There is a program for everyone! Whether it is for the arts, engineering, auto, anything! The courses are good, they have a variety of courses from economics, personal finance management, to childhood development and interior design. They also offer AP, Honors and classes that give you FVTC credits and UW Oshkosh credits.

Overall, I have had a good experience with the Appleton Area School District. I have never felt unsafe at any point as a student, and from what I have seen, bullying is a rare occurrence; peer relationships are strong in moderation. I have had many teachers that are passionate about the subjects they teach and helping their students succeed, it seems as though the higher up the ladder these professionals climb, the more that spark fades. This is partially why I rated only 3 stars, because it is not guaranteed that staff members are fully devoted. Additionally, mental health is a huge problem in this district, and faculty tends to ignore this issue more than take steps to solve or prevent it. However, this is most likely the case for many other districts as well.
I liked the diversity and inclusiveness! I also liked how we had a mental health week where we dedicated a whole week where we had guests come to speak about their past struggles, and how they overcame them or how they were dealing with them.
