As a former student in the Antelope Valley Union High School District, I have been given the opportunity to develop skills and characteristics that have proven beneficial in both an educational and workforce area. For example, I have experienced one of the many Regional Occupational Programs through the Antelope Valley Union High School District known as the Health Careers Academy. While in the program, I have efficiently developed the necessary qualifications for a start in my future career. Although there are many positive things to be written about the Antelope Valley Union High School District, changes can be made through the position of certain faculty members. I have experienced being in several classrooms in which the teacher is not capable of teaching the required curriculum for the certain grade level. Overall, the Antelope Valley Union High School District receives a "3" rating from me! Thank you.

Love this district! Very academic feel and truly cares about their students and their future successes. Always tries to improve for the upcoming year, with limited resources in our valley!
I have liked the opportunities that the Antelope Valley school district has to offer for its students. Students can participate in various academies while still attendibg school such as a medical academy, political academy, stem based academy, and the opportunity to gain experience as a firefighter. The only thing that could be changed that would make a serious significance would be to create more opportunities and push for parental involvement. It’s already hoped for, but many parents aren’t actually involved.
