Ansonia High is becoming a much better school than it once was. In fact, it's a much nicer environment than the other schools that I've been to. Teachers actually care a lot about their students, and my teachers have always been incredibly helpful and competent. If you take advantage of AP, ECE, HCC, and Honors courses you'll really prepare yourself for college. We have a lot of different clubs to join and of course, sports! Students are mostly nice and welcoming, but just like every school, there are a few troublemakers you want to steer clear of. This school is really what you make of it.

I enjoyed the opportunities of having college classes available for me to take and have the possibility of those credits being transferred to the college. Another positive aspect of Ansonia High School is, having diversity between the students. This school gives a lot of options for different college pathways, at least they try to.
Ansonia was an all inclusive district. The teachers in the school system showed that they cared not only about our education but about our stance as people in society as well. I would love to see more of a ciriculum in the fine arts. I remember being in school and the art supplies being short for the school year. I think that we should be giving the oppurtinites to the students that actully want to excel in the creative ways of life.
