I am a Junior and i attend AHS. Anson high school has taught me a lot but i have had to help myself a lot. I learned that if you don't try for yourself you will not get anywhere. You have to push yourself forward. The teachers are sometimes very helpful. The Food most of the time is stale. The milks are usually overdue . The environment isn't welcoming. The people who work there are kind for most of the time. Sports are a big part of the school. I myself have problems with how things are at the school, but me being a student my opinion doesn't matter. The school is a good school, but we cant even eat burger king or any "commercial food" at lunch! That usually results in me being hungry all day, and i get sick from not eating .

My experience at Anson high school wasn't the best but it made me who i am. At Anson high school it had poor sanitation and food it wasn't the wealthiest school but the main focus was the education. Anson high school system wasn't very organized, it wasn't a top school in academics or athletics. A few years later i would love to see Anson high school bigger with better school materials such as books, computers, desk, and etc. I would also like to see a better teaching staff at Anson high school right along with gyms and football fields.
What I liked about attending Anson County Schools was that when I was struggling, they actually worked with me as teachers and staff, even involving my mother, instead of just letting my grades go down the drain. They made plans, suggestions, and supported us in success, even changing our classes if need be. I would, however, create a more strict environment against bullying and harassment. That would make it an overall good school.
