Anselmo-Merna Public Schools Reviews

I graduated from Anselmo- Merna school in 1987. I moved home to teach Spanish. Drastic changes are in the fine art areas. The music and art are K-12 programs, no FCS Program, and all students have a computer, There are few computer classes offered. These are issues with most of the smaller schools in Nebraska. A-M strives to offer students the best academic schedule possible. The teachers excel in their areas, the administration is very supportive, and the athletic director makes sure the sports coincide with the academic expectation. As a parent/teacher, I would love to see more current events in the building, computer classes and a FCS program. More books in Spanish.
A-M Has a company doing the school lunches. The lunches have two choices and a salad bar not bad

A-M is a small school with a lot of community support. The facility is updated and the students are 1-1 computers. The teachers are caring and well educated for the jobs that they perform. The lunch program gives students a choice of 2 or 3 main meal options. I really enjoyed getting a choice of what I was to eat . Sports have community members as coaches who seem to care a lot about their players.
Loved the staff and faculty. Loved the courses and opportunities that are constantly growing for more classes. Would like to see more recognition for those not involved with sports instead of everything being about those who are
