My time at aacps was fairly good, although there are still many things that need to be done to improve the educational environment within the county. I’ve noticed that many teachers lack motivation to teach. It is very hard to find a teacher who actually teaches the students and make time for their questions. Secondly, the clubs/extracurricular activities is poor, students don’t have enough resources and opportunities for clubs or extracurricular classes like orchestra. Often times teachers don’t take these classes serious, at the end of the day the students don’t gain anything from these clubs/extracurricular activities.

AACPS provides a solid academic education with an abundant assortment of magnet and technical programs for middle and high school students. There is a lot of positive energy in the individual schools, which varies throughout the County.
The teachers would benefit from additional support staff to enable more personal attention.
The schools are richly diverse, which works great in some neighborhoods but has problems in others, depending on people's appreciation of diversity.
I personal do not attend a Anne Arundel county public school but I do have a younger sibling and a nephew that attend the schools. From, what I’ve noticed throughout their attendance at these schools they are provided many activities such as Halloween parties, boat trips, Christmas parties. They are able to learn French in elementary classes and many more. One time I attended a high school football game for some students I know and the game had at least or more 500 people. The people were at students, parents, friends, players and more. This game made a while entry community come together.
