I attend Angleton High School. I have taken part in several extracurricular activities and I have enjoyed my time with these activities. I have been active in band, tennis, and theater arts. However, because band is such an involved activity I have not been able to fully participate in the other activities. I would have liked my band teacher to be more open to other activities.I have felt safe on campus. I know that there have been many issues in the parking lot and there are fights on a weekly basis. But, I have not been involved in any of these incidents and I believe they can be avoided.
The administration has changed during my time at the high school. This includes my counselor during my senior year. I think that if you have graduating seniors that high school counselors should be involved often. This did not happen and any connection that I did make with my counselor was lost during a crucial time at the high school.

Over Angleton was a good place for learning. The only problem, I would say, is safety precautions could be take more seriously. There could be more safety measures taken as well.
My experience with Angleton High School was very superb. The atmosphere was very comforting, teachers and staff were both friendly and helpful. More importantly though, the curriculum was easy to grasp, although there wasn't very much encouragement to join AP classes. I hope that changes in the future due to those classes being able to help shape a students' future.
