Great staff. Teachers, administration, etc. Everyone is really nice and caring. All staff is very supportive and is easy to create relationships with. Success is important to them & are willing to help at all times! Also, great opportunities to get involved in all different areas!
There are great things about Andover, such as the accommodating teachers and the semi-friendly environment, but Andover is a predominantly white high school, meaning every little thing about race is scrutinized. Students aren't able to hang up a timeline crediting people of color without it getting taken down, and staff members are willing to listen to the complaints but wholly ignoring the students of color. Andover can do better but chooses not to, and it says a lot about the distract as a character.
Andover High School is a fairly good school, but does lack some things. There are not that many AP classes or ones students would like to take and some of the facilities in the school are old. However, the teachers are always very kind and there is lots of different clubs and sports for people to explore their interests.
