I have been in Anderson 5 from Kindergarten through my senior year. I believe I have received a quality education. The district provided opportunities and resources that helped to prepare me for higher education. I believe the district priorities sports above academics. During my time at TL Hanna, they built two new sports facilities. I believe a better use of the available funding would have been an academic investment. Improvements could be made upon Administrative staffing, classroom resources, and technology at the school.
Me being an athlete this was a great district all the schools seem to work with athletes to make she that they were great on and off the field. With up to date equipment and books its a great place. The students are also very nice to each other and don't segregate new comers. The food was also very good nothing the school fed us was nasty and our pizza could have been sold at a real restaurant. Because of the different career fields surrounding the area its also a very nice and diverse environment people literally from all different parts of the world can be found there looking for opportunities in the work force. I also feel like safety was a priority especially in these times our schools did great jobs making sure that not only the student s but the teachers remained safe during these times by keeping each student socially distanced inside the school and around the school grounds. Many of the kids that graduate from the district go to great colleges afterwards too for scholarships.
My experience with Anderson Five Charter School was amazing! They are one of the best schools in the state in my opinion. I'm very glad I was able to be a part of a school that was all technology. Being able to do my classes online helped me become more focused, and helped me be able to graduate a year early! having the opportunity to have such amazing teachers to help me through anything was the best part. I really appreciate the love and acceptance I received from everyone! This school also helped me overcome a rough patch in my life. I was really struggling with bullying in school, and my ninth-grade adviser at Westside High School was very helpful. He helped me get into Anderson Five Charter School, so I could become more independent, and succeed in my life as well.
