Anadarko Public Schools are descent. The Elementary schools Kindergarten through 5th are absolutely great! But it's the middle school and highschool when it starts to become not so great. Basically, they just teach you things to pass a test. Students need something that's going to get their attention, something they will actually learn from. It just really sucks that the only thing they teach is the things you need to learn for a test.

In Anadarko High School I especially enjoyed the school spirit everyone let’s off no matter what sport it is. However, I believe the GPA for playing all sports should have to be above a 1.0 in order to play. I also wish the guidance counselors were more aware as well as knowledgeable about my future such as they were unaware of the fact that some of my concurrent classes didn’t transfer to some of the universities I wanted to attend. They were also no help in applying for scholarships as well as applying to college. All in all my experience in Anadarko High School was good however I wish there was more help given from the faculty.
My experience thru high school at Anadarko was great the Academic staff was excellent, the food was good there, thru the years there was excellent just have staff that really help you when your grades aren't great they find ways to help the students get caught up. The counselors help out a lot getting us ready to graduate. Taking the extra steps to get us there. Teacher there give us the opportunities to make the grade it's up to you to make them. I don't see anything else that they could do to make thing better because it's all ready great. Students there are great we just need to keep striving to go forward to be successful in what ever we do, the opportunities are there we just need to make it great for us to succeed.
