Rating 4.13 out of 5 8 reviews
Mostly good, the school and teachers seem to genuinely care for the students and it is typically a tight knit environment. Sports are ok but some of the more competitive ones are basically just politics which is obnoxious.
Great school, most of the staff is very hardworking and dedicated. There are some administrators and some educators who make the rest of the faculty of all of the schools look bad due to poor behavior or leadership skills but the schools are well-funded and have many opportunities for success. There are many ways to get, be, and stay involved, as both a parent or a student. Students are prepped for college and given every opportunity in the world. There are also countless people on the AEFI board that make extra opportunities for hands-on learning experiences possible, such as Math on the River, the Early College program, a local seismograph, courtyard refurnishing, and more.
The environment at Amesbury schools is very welcoming and their ideas are progressive. Any student who wants to succeed in Amesbury Schools can and will. The encouragement to get involved in clubs and the community makes the school days fly by. Of course there are teachers that are not everyone's favorite but most of the teachers stay after and accommodate learning so that their students can succeed. There are plenty of classes to choose from and a schedule that allows a student to take the classes they want.
