I love Alpine School District! I feel like the students are well taken care of and many of the teachers and counselors care for the students well being. One thing I would change would be to make sure the snow days aren’t waisted. Most snow days there isn’t much snow, and then there is this huge storm that makes it really hard to get to school and we end up having school that day anyway. Overall I really enjoy being part of this district and feel like I always have someone, whether it be a teacher or a counselor, that can help me figure things out.
Alpine school district has been excellent! When problems occur, they attempt to find solutions quickly and efficiently. However, I would like them to listen to the students and parents more rather than the teachers and principals. Don't ask students and parents to fill out surveys if you aren't going to consider the information when finding solutions.
The teachers at my school are amazing, organized, and enthusiastic. The curriculums are well suited to the students’ needs, as well as the schedule. During 2020 and the COVID-19 pandemic, Alpine District has been flexible and organized with their scheduling, making changes as they are needed. There are a wide variety of student-run and faculty-run clubs and extracurriculars. The faculty does an amazing job of preparing students for and supporting them throughout college application processes and readiness. I love and admire my school district!
