Alma School District provided an excellent experience during my 13 years of education . I am prepared for college and the real world thanks to the districts amazing academic programs. They provided Advanced Placement and Concurrent classes that grew and developed my knowledge and higher thinking. I grew in leadership and created lifelong friends with their sport and activity programs. The entire faculty I would consider family they loved me, mentored me, and supported me and still continue to do so. The Alma School District is one that I will always be appreciative of and I am proud to say I am an Alumni of Alma High School.

I love how involved the students are in the Alma schools. Students are required to participate in either band or choir when in Intermediate school. When they get to middle school, dance is added as an option. These requirements are extremely valuable to students' education. I thoroughly enjoyed my time in the Alma school district because of how successful I felt through their performing Arts programs. However, their academic seem to lack slightly, especially compared to other schools I have attended. I think their performing arts and sports programs make up for that deficit though.
My overall experience in the Alma School District growing up has mostly been a positive one. Just simply by remembering all the friendships I have acquired, all the knowledge I now know from my teachers, and the exciting experiences I've come to know because of my Alma Mater. One thing I would like to see change is the bonding between all the types of people throughout the district. Even though I know various types of people at Alma, I had to go far and wide to meet them and know them more. I would like my school system to be more integral in social means as it pertains to the students. This is more for the students to do rather than the teachers to enforce but that's one thing I would like see change.
