Allen Village is a very good school and I had a good experience at this school ever since I was in kindergarten til now in my Junior year. I spent most of my childhood here and grew up together with my fellow comrades. Some of my classmates departed from this school, but I still see them out of school.
The diversity of the school is average, it's mostly African American and Mexican. This district needs students from other nationalities because you'll learn things about their culture. The college readiness of this district is excellent because the teachers want to go to college and be successful, not flipping burgers. College isn't for everyone, but always have a successful plan for your life. The food is not that good, so we need another company! There are clubs, but the one I suggest you join is Soup Kitchen because you get all of your volunteer hours.Overall the Allen Village School District is good.

This is a not a normal school. Allen Village does not focus on sports, homecoming or other stuff that other high-schools have. Something that we do have that other school don't is that we have good academic students. Our school only prioritizes its self to academic resources. For example we have college classes so that students can get college credits before they go to college. Also we have such a diversity of students, they come from different parts of the world. We don't have many types of clubs. We only got Chess, kickboxing, debate, and student council. Our school is really weird but I honestly like it like that because its different than other schools.
I like the small classes and teachers! Coming from a huge middle school, I wanted to be more connected with my teachers. My teachers pushed me with every assignment. I feel that I’m very prepared for college level work especially having taken dual enrollment courses!
