Algona Community School District Reviews
This was one of the best places I have ever been. Our school is so well taken care of. The custodial staff is amazing and does everything in their power to keep our buildings and land as clean and as well mannered as possible. The teachers are always there for a helping hand whether it is school related or not. The community has built a great place for students, including an amazing scholarship fund to help students take on college. Overall, Algona Community Schools is an amazing school district for families who want their kids to have a experience in school.
The best thing about Algona High School is that the student senate tries to get everyone as involved in other activities like making whoops coming. Algona also does a good job of making the school a safe place, with it always being clean and having a teacher to talk to. One of the worst things about Algona is the lack of support to the arts programs such as dance and theater. The support for theater has gotten better since the school received a new performing arts center; however, the support for the dance team isn't there.
I loved my experience at Algona Community School District. There were always helpful in every class and even outside of classes. The counselors are very good in informing the students about the importance of college and scholarships.
