Albert Lea Public School District Reviews
I love the fact that I have the opportunity to take so many college classes, I think the teachers are very well-qualified and genuinely care about us. I feel very safe at this school and comfortable in my classrooms. I think the administration, especially the counselors, could do a better job with helping students during the college application process and finding career opportunities. I also think the athletic department could be more consistent with punishments concerning alcohol and drug use.
Albert Lea high school is often regarded as a terrible and mundane place of existence, and it is, only if you have a bad attitude about it. There are many good things about AL that are seemingly overlooked; the teachers, opportunities, academics. Every bit of AL added to the experience of going there. Whether it was negative or positive, every moment was wonderful. Even with the hypocrisy that runs through the veins of that town, if you could maintain a positive attitude, work hard, and listen to the teachers, then you'll be successful
The school doesn’t tell you about many opportunities around. People kinda have to figure out things themselves and there’s quite a few amount of kids who don’t behave. They have pretty good classes though, they teach a good amount. Every always cheers on the teams even though we don’t really win much.
