Alabaster City Schools Reviews
The Alabaster city schools system is a very cozy, at home type of organization. This school system is always about putting the students first on the priority list. These schools have always had student safety at the top of the list, there are constantly drills for all scenarios and they are not only ran but ran to perfection. These school systems also seek to have the best, up to date technology, learning systems, and facilities involving athletics. Athletics within the Alabaster school system is one of the main attractions around the city. One of the football teams made it to the 7A State Championship along with beating one of the top ranked high school teams in the nation. As this proves with Alabaster schools, top of the line teachers, facilities, and staff are kept here in Alabaster. Students have always come first here, and that will continue.
There are teachers at the high school, and throughout ACS, that genuinely care about the students; however, it is among the small handful of faculty members who could make this a better learning environment - from the administrators not recognizing invisible disabilities to some teachers being awarded a job simply because their husband is involved in the football program. The board could make more of an effort in hiring only qualified individuals, rather than just a few.
What I loved about Alabaster City Schools was how the community is very supportive helpful kind and caring. They’re one big family and I would love for my kids to grow up here!
