If one dedicates themselves to school, regardless of the district they fall in, one could succeed. There are a lot of things wrong with the district, like too many students and not enough teachers, low money for supplies, and crummy food, but the main idea behind school is too learn and this is what Adams 12 did for me. Despite the short amount of teachers and full classrooms, if one takes their time to study, ask questions, and build a rapport with their teacher, it is a great district!

Adams 12 has a strong school environment. I feel prepared for college, and have been acknowledged for my achievements. Honors programs in Adams 12 high schools are strong, and sports are organized very well. There's many programs and classes in schools that prepare students for many different fields. My main complaint about Adams 12 is the funding for schools. I do not feel funds are spent in a well fashioned manner, and noticed many areas which should be funded. Funds should be directed towards playgrounds and recreational activities for elementary schools. Also most middle schools don't have opportunities for sports other than gym classes. For high school, many sports teams have to manually fundraise thousands of dollars just to pay for equipment. Fundraisers in general make sense, however it has not come to my attention that funding pays for hardly any of it. If more funding is also directed towards these sports, room for other activities and special events can be in place.
As a current high school student, Northglenn High School and Adams 12 have done nothing less than create an environment for me to thrive in my education. At the school and district level, student voice is considered and valued. The wide array of classes and activities that are offered throughout the district allow for all students to make their own path based on choice while allowing appropriate guidance from trusted adults. The education that Adams 12 fosters from Pre-K through 12th Grade is exceptional. By providing many college level courses and the opportunity for college credit, they encourage all students to push themselves to be the best they can be. At the middle and high school level, Adams 12 has provided many real world opportunities for students to build professionalism and experience. I wouldn’t be the thriving leader ready for the real world, regardless of my post-secondary choices.
