I have been attending ASD20 schools since the 4th grade! My Mom choice my siblings and I into this school district because of it’s great reputation for academics. I believe my educational experience has been challenged socially, emotionally and academically. I have experienced many opportunities for sports, clubs and academic challenges. The teachers and excellent administrators have guided a great education ! I’m priveledged to have had elementary, middle and high school years as a student in district 20. This educational journey has prepared me for my next step to college and to adulthood.

I went to TCA East Elementary 1-6 grade, and College Pathways 7-9 grade. TCA really focuses on their students and community. As Titans, we are all expected to give back to the community as well. TCA holds many fundraisers and an annual canned food bank at all three campuses for the Springs Rescue Mission. One of the lines in the school creed is 'Titans take ownership of, and find joy in learning'. All of the teachers make sure that their students not only understand what they are being taught, but they also enjoy it. 'Titans love, respect, and protect one another', is something that I personally really connect to. Ofter times if you are going through a hard time, the community will help you out, and it feels like a giant extended family who cares for you even if they don't all know you. The Classical Academy is an incredible school that has the interest and health of all students and faculty as a priority!
The Academy school district 20 is a great place to be, there are a lot of resources for students including faculty and other materials! The teachers are kind and do a great job with working with and building a strong lasting relationships with the students! I would like to see the concept of what they are teaching change some; for example our general population is dealing with student loan debit and credit card debt. We should be teaching the students how to budget and how to stay away from debt and this would really set these students up for success.
