Aberdeen School District has great facilities, is safety-oriented, and is home to fantastic overall school "culture" and spirit. There are safety installations in place to keep the building secure, and a staff and student body who meet every challenge head-on. However, there is definitely room for improvement when it comes to preparing students for college and life after high school. There needs to be more presentations concerning college applications, scholarships, degree earnings, financial responsibility, and trade school/work force job readiness.

I am a senior at Aberdeen High School. I have gone to school in the Aberdeen School District all of my life. I went to A.J. West Elementary, Miller Jr. High, and Aberdeen Highschool. I also am attending Grays Harbor College as a running start student. I love having the ability to do running start. My overall experience with the Aberdeen School District is good.
I like Aberdeen High School, I personally haven't had a bad experience with the school or the administration. The teachers are excellent and the school offers good programs.
