Cyprus High school is honestly a quality school. With 100 it may see run down but that’s not true at all. With a thriving performing arts sector that received best musical in the district, Madrigals and Show Choir winning 1st and 2nd at a music competition at Lagoon and much more. Cyprus is a school filled with pirate pride with a very diverse student body. There is a place for everyone here at Cyprus with our many clubs, and if you feel like there is nothing for you, you have the opportunity to start your own club! While it’s hard to judge the teacher on a overall judgment rather than each individual you will find some teacher who are truly dedicated and want the best for their students that will fight for the best for them. While overall the teachers have been significantly great there will always be at least one who is a constant grump. Cyprus high as their modo say “the home of scholars and champions” is very true and with in the Magna community you will see that’s true.

This school offers many opportunities for its students. Our administration provides safety and security, the counselors are very helpful as well guide you to exceed academically and our teachers are always willing to help students if they are struggling in the class. A useful tool that is beneficial is that Cyprus has a career center where advisors give us access and help to apply for colleges and scholarships which has made things easier for many people, including myself. Out of all the wonderful things Cyprus has, its student body is what stands out and has given me the best high school experience possible. The diversity of Cyprus is baffling. There are so many students that come from various backgrounds and being apart of it has been extraordinary and memorable and if you don't believe me, just come see for yourself.
Most of the teachers are fine, the school itself is a dead spot and some online assiments cannot be finished because of it. The building is very old and needs to be repaired and the food is below average. Fights tend to break out a lot on campus and last year about three or more girls got pregnant during the school year. On top of this, there have been multiple reports of sexual harassment but little action being taken. There are a lot of good teachers as well as bad ones just like any other school and the school does try to give students every way to suceed. This year the school had encouraged students to take more AP classes but according to a few students attending these classes some students were denied thier requests to drop the class even when thier overall gpa was suffering because of it. Overall, Cyprus High School is below average. There is no doubt in my mind that this school is trying to change for the better. Until then they are a poorly runned school.
