Academically speaking, it is excellent. The school offers a very large variety of classes including electives and AP and Dual Credit classes. Most teachers are qualified and carefully chosen, and it shows too! Because of them, there are a lot of intelligent students, which also makes it an extremely competitive high school. There are plenty of extracurricular activities for everyone. However, it has very limited diversity and because of it a lot of students seem to live in a bubble. Part of the bubble is also the excessive parent involvement in a lot of the student´s lives. Overall it has very appealing qualities of a desirable high school, but it has its slight downsides.

My experience attending Cypress Woods High School was straight up amazing! I love being apart of various clubs and programs, which I had to freedom of choice to choose what I would like to part take in. There are many clubs or organizations to be apart of and meet new people who have a common mutual interest! Though of course, as a student I seriously hate the idea of wearing clear backpacks. Any student that has attended any CFISD school can agree with me on this man. Of course, it is only a safety precaution. But other than that, this school has its perks. The culinary arts class makes food for the spacemen that work for NASA so that's pretty interesting if you're a astronomical person. Also, Cypress Woods High School are always looking for ways to sustain a safe, fun loving environment for the student. I hope you attend Cypress Woods High School, and become a prideful WILDCAT !
My experience at Cypress Woods High School has been phenomenal! There are many sports that everyone can attend to, also there are thousands of clubs you can join to be apart of something new. At Cypress Woods High School I'm personally involved in cross county, soccer, choir, and Spanish NHS. It's an amazing feeling when you're involved in such amazing programs where you feel wanted and never left out. It really does feel like a big happy family it's a place where you can meet new people, make new friends, make memories that last a life time. At the Woods you're always in for an amazing ride.
