Cypress High School is a decision that I am truly grateful for pursuing. Despite this institution not being my original home-designated school, I wanted to pursue the high quality of education offered here. The teachers that I have had are truly wonderful, caring, and knowledgeable people, and I am so grateful for the education I have been lucky enough to receive at this school. The environment makes me feel safe to pursue my education, and students across all types of classes (regular, honors, and AP, as I have been a part of all three) are truly cooperative and kind to each other. We have a very vibrant sports life, and events organized by ASB here are very interesting and fun to be a part of. I feel very prepared and ready heading into college thanks to the above and beyond efforts of my teachers here, and would highly recommend attending Cypress High School for future students reading this post!

Cypress High School is a great place to be! The teachers and students are all nice and great people. The Facilities are in great condition and there are tons of resources all around the campus. The school is extremely diverse and has many different ethnicities on campus. The school district also decided to renovate the school recently and the campus is almost completely new!

Cypress is quite lacking in the Music department as there is no orchestra and the amount of clubs on campus could be better. The school culture is also very lacking but is there to an extent.

All in all Cypress High School is an awesome place to learn, and although it can be improved in some places, the school is a really fun place to learn.
There’s some really good teachers at cypress, but there’s also a lot of teachers who ruined my experience and some of my friends as well. One teacher in particular was known to throw racial slurs at students, cuss students out, and generally just make people feel bad about themselves. Although I never had this problem, I know our administrators handled bullying very poorly- despite the “see something tell somebody about it” claim they are always advertising. Despite some diversity, non-white students are severely underrepresented. The arts program is a mess, despite the forced requirement of a visual or performing art class. Many people feel little connection to the school and little school culture exists. Most students are miserable and dread coming to school. Panic attacks and anxiety aren’t uncommon.
