Cypress High School is a high school located in Orange County. Just by the location, most can assume this is a very privileged high school and you are absolutely correct. The students were predominantly white and asian, and i think that due to the location and demographics of the area that is why. Many schools are segregated due to location and Cypress is not an exception to this. I believe that though i did receive and excellent education that readied me for college, there are lots of things that can be done. We can start accepting students from other locations to better our diversity. As students we can learn a lot from our peers. Our curriculum can also be expanded by interaction with kids from different backgrounds. I had a good experience with most of my teachers and i always felt safe on this campus. We have tons of clubs and extra curricular activities for students to get involved in and i think that is great!
Review Cypress High School
Graduated in 2014 from Cypress but still have plenty of friends who attend. Like all schools this one has it's great teachers and it's bad ones but the good ones go well above and beyond what they get paid to do! While the place might look diverse at first glance you can easily find that everyone here is more Americanized then they appear to be, and while most students come from families that are well off, the ones that aren't don't get as much help as they need. Between the hazing and bullying that tears schools apart Cypress is no exception, nonetheless students that get past all the school drama go into college ready to conquer life and all its dreams!
Cypress High School brought about the best memories of my education. All the teachers I had were very caring and wanted you to work hard to succeed. The ethnicity diversity at Cypress High School had a very wide variety and it helped me to accept and learn about my peers' background and beliefs. The clubs and sports were organized very well. Although some were funded better than others, the fact that the sports or club was avaibale to the me as a student made my high school expericne very fun and memorable. As for college preparations, Cypress High School's studying techniques were not very effective. I still have trouble studying, however, the app and honors classes helped me to manage my time due to the amount of work that was needed for these harder classes.
