Our first year at CCS has been amazing! As the mother of a teen and pre-teen, I find that it's always challenging to raise a Christian child that is also adequately prepared to handle the pressures of the outside world.

At CCS, it's been nice to see that the "ruling majority" [of the kids] gladly excels academically, intentionally does what is kind and right, and unapologetically loves the Lord. Here, I find that it is not considered uncool or odd to have high goals, great aspirations, and live an amazing God-centered life---at any age.

Parenting in partnership with CCS has been fantastic. We no longer have to parent 'against' or 'in-spite of' and it makes our job so much easier. We would definitely recommend Cypress Christian School to any family that desires to challenge their child/children academically and strengthen them (and themselves) spiritually.

Our son and daughter both graduated from Cypress Christian School. My wife and I are delighted with the quality of academic education both of our children received. Additionally, the Christian environment is extremely important to us, and we were thankful that our children were surrounded by role models who supported our Christian values, and imparted the education from a Christian point of view. My son is now in medical school, and has commented about his amazing education at CCS that prepared him for medical school (particularly the science classes). My daughter received a full ride academic scholarship to her college of first choice. What a blessing CCS has been to our family! It's a great community.
Between our kids, we spent 13 years at CCS. The staff and admin the first 6 or 7 years were amazing! As admin began to change, so did the internal atmosphere. Things began to shift from academic to sports. This alone wasn’t bad for some. One of our kids excelled academically and and as they got closer to high school and we had one graduate (K-12th), we really became concerned with the number of highly qualified teachers leaving and teachers being told they needed to make things easier for the kids to do well academically. Disputes regarding curriculum were happening everywhere. So, if you want a very average school academically and want the faith base aspect (this part is awesome), and your child wants sports, this may be the place for you. If your child is highly intelligent and needs academic stimulation, or you want the high level of college prep, this is not the best choice.
Also note that number and percentages can (and have been) tweaked to favor.
