The teachers are generally fine, though only a few teachers really go above what the basic expectations are. Some of the teachers are not equipped to handle more advanced subject material such as advanced math and science curricula. Additionally, it seems that the teachers are preoccupied with issues outside of the classroom, such as their union activities. Unfortunately, the teacher's union at CHS puts increasing their own wealth over the well-being and education of the district's children. It has caused a lot of unnecessary turmoil in the community, damaging the district and community for years to come.

Sometimes athletics is prioritize above academic or other activities at CHS. This is inappropriate. However, the offering for extracurricular activities at a small district are great.
As stated before generally this is a good school, but more should be done to improve the academics programs.
