The school has a faculty that will prepare you for real life situations. Most students in America, especially nowadays, seem to have a difficult time adapting to the outside world after high school. Cutler Bay Academy includes an array of real life situations, in- and outside the classroom. Every student and staff member is part of a tight knit family that would never think to judge one another for the color of your skin or background, which was something that I, in particular, look for in my place of study. Although the school may be incredibly adaptable for all newcomers, I would comment on the change in faculty that happens more frequently than I would like. Also, the lack of after school activities seems to be limited to less than an average high school.

I became part of the student body during my sophomore year (now I am a senior). This is a great school overall; personally, I believe that it is because it is small compared to other schools. However, this is an advantage because this leads the amount of students per class to be small, which allows a 101 conversation between students and teachers. Also, academically speaking, it gives the opportunity to all the students to take AP and/or AICE classes as well as Honors, so it is up to student to chose the intesity level of his/her schedule. I am grateful for being part of this outstanding school.
From the two years (my junior and senior year) that I attended this school, I can honestly say I had an amazing experience due to the friends I made, the teachers that prepared me for college, and through the variety of clubs I was involved in.
