My experience at Cutler bay way pretty good I would say. There are a lot of clubs and activities offered at the school which looks really good on your resume. The special events and pep rally’s were really fun. Since it’s a small school we were able to more field trips and more fun things. As an African American it’s not really diverse per se in my opinion but overall it’s still a good still education wise.

The school has a faculty that will prepare you for real life situations. Most students in America, especially nowadays, seem to have a difficult time adapting to the outside world after high school. Cutler Bay Academy includes an array of real life situations, in- and outside the classroom. Every student and staff member is part of a tight knit family that would never think to judge one another for the color of your skin or background, which was something that I, in particular, look for in my place of study. Although the school may be incredibly adaptable for all newcomers, I would comment on the change in faculty that happens more frequently than I would like. Also, the lack of after school activities seems to be limited to less than an average high school.
Everyone is incredibly kind and approachable. The school campus looks well taken cared of and is an overall great environment
