I am a former student from this academic institution and needless to say, Cutler bay Senior High School was a good school. Classes are small, etc. are offered very focused. The coursework can get very intense depending on which type of rigor you are placed in. Staff & Administration are relatively very professional and respectful. The school definitely goes above and beyond for student activities and tries to make them as fun as possible. As for student body, it can be a bit difficult to adjust if you’re coming from a very “Public” school atmosphere. Many students here come from very entitled/privileged families who can very well afford to go to have their kids in private schools but choose not to. Some students are very nice but of course you have your obnoxious, snobby students as well. Diversity is not seen as much of an issue at the school, although maybe about more than half of the students there are Caucasian. The school lacks sports!

This is a great school because you get excellent education! They have amazing teachers that will go very far to help you and make sure you learn and understand what you are learning. The teachers are very reliable and make you feel safe. Some of the office staff can be a rude and unwelcoming but that is the only negative thing about Cutler bay senior high. Besides that everything about this school is excellent and i would recommend it to everyone.
The school is definitely a little challenging, but it is an advanced school so that makes sense, the faculty and teachers also always offer help. The school is very problem free, it’s very small having about 500 students overall, but you’ll make friends. They offer different magnets and have an AICE Program which allows you to get money for college. When it comes to sports like football, soccer, and volleyball they are not available, but there are many sports like swimming, tennis, track, and golf, as well as many clubs. The counselor and teachers look over and work with students a lot to make sure they get a diploma, get into a collage of their choice, as well as have a wonderful high school experience. Overall, I do recommend the school, your freshman year will be though but according to the upperclassmen it gets better.
