I have been an Currey Ingram parent for 12 years and could not be happier with the education my student has received. Not only in proper academics, but social skills and awareness, community service, time management, organization, responsibility, integrity , independence, physical fitness, teamwork, and so much more. My student with learning differences has not just survived school, but has excelled at Currey Ingram. She loves going to school every day! We are so excited to see how the skills she has learned at Currey Ingram serve her in college and beyond.
Every child could benefit from the education provided by Currey Ingram Academy. Small class sizes, individualized learning plans, a team of teachers and administrators that understand your child's learning profile and social / emotional needs are just a few of the things that make CIA standpoint above the rest. For families with a child or children who have a diagnosed learning difference and/or are struggling in a normal classroom environment because of large class sizes, anxiety, etc., Currey Ingram should be at the top of your list for consideration.
Our child has dyslexia and was struggling at her prior school with a worsening sense of failure and falling self esteem. We visited CIA and knew immediately that it was the right place for us. Our child has thrived here and has regained her confidence and her spark and enjoys going to school again. One of the things I love most about the school is the overall message that our kids are ok they way they are. Yes they learn differently but it’s not a failure and it doesn’t mean they can’t learn, it just means they need a different approach. They work with the students in small groups and figure out how they learn best and encourage them to utilize tools to meet the tasks at hand. All of the teachers that we have had are incredibly engaged and committed as well as versed in the different learning styles. I think they really bring out the best in our child and we have found the growth she has undergone while at CIA invaluable.
