Curie High School is a performing arts school, which means we have many arts classes such as dance, art, music. But along with that, we are part of the IB program, CTE, and AVID. Which is good because not many schools have the opportunity to have such diverse programs that can help us succeed in life. The teachers and staff at Curie High School are very caring people towards their students academically and even personally. They check up on us to make sure we are doing good. This way if we are mentally healthy, our performance in school will be outstanding, which is what the school wants for us. The overall environment at Curie is pretty good.

I've had a good experience with Curie high school. I enjoy being here learning and spending time with my friends and teachers. I am surrounded by great people that seek for success. My teachers push me to do better because they want me to have a better future. Everyone in this school is talented and has potential. This is my senior year and so far its been amazing. I have so much support from all the staff. I'm also in senior seminar this class helps with college applications, scholarships , and learning how to be more independent. Something that has also prepared me for college is the IB program , It is a very helpful program that is not taken advantage of. People tend to think that if they are in IB they're just going to give you huge workloads every day but even if that was the case, its preparing you for life after high school.
The high school experience that Curie gave me was one of a kind and I would not change one part of it if I could. Curie is a very diverse high school and that is one of the things that made me fall head over heels for the school. Many programs are provided through the school to fit any student and their dream career. Staff is very constant; many teachers push students to their full potential although it may be overwhelming at times, they do it for our own good. A major part of my astounding experience was all the extracurricular activities for students to join. Each club has their purpose and I joined four clubs throughout my years of high school and everybody is so welcoming and if peers see you in confusion, they don't hesitate to help. This is why I give Curie High School 5 stars for my overall experience.
