Cuero high school in 3 years that I was in it which was 9th to 11th was alright with safety and education, but since my 12th grade year it's has been great yes some mess ups once in awhile but our safety has skyrocketed like extremely and that's great because I'm so paranoid about everything and they are doing the best to keep everyone safe and with school being a drug free zone they are cracking down on kids and helping to get rid of them from our school. Our education is great the teachers help us with anything we need help with and make us understand it. Something I would change is the dress code because I know it could be a safety issue but we could have school Id's for that and we could be comfortable in what we want to wear.
The athletics are fantastic, but many feel that the school prioritizes them over everything else. Football is especially important to Cuero. There are not many after school activities/clubs besides sports. I have really enjoyed almost every teacher I have ever had there; the staff is excellent.
I'm currently about to be a junior and, so far my experience has been great! We definitely could use a more variety when is comes to college classes and extra curricular activities.
