This school exceeded my expectations of education quality. I made great, lasting friends and met some excellent individuals. The campus itself was beautiful. I'm certainly glad I had the opportunity to attend!

I was briefly a sophomore at CLCS a year or two ago. The teachers do seem to care about their students and integrated Christianity into their lessons, but that's about all this school has going for them. My "art class" was basically a study hall with crayons; I learned nothing about artistic techniques, history, or composition. The school teaches all of their subjects infused with strictly conservative, baptist beliefs. I found many biased, opinion-based "facts" that had no actual support. A poster hangs on a classroom wall depicting notable scientists Bill Nye, Charles Darwin, and Neil deGrasse Tyson chained up in the pits of hell. We were taught strictly that young-earth creation is the only true interpretation of Genesis, monarchy is the best form of government, and that the KJV translation of the Bible is the most accurate.
Cross Lanes Christian provides a solid education with a christian emphasis. The school is very small which allows close relationships between the teachers and the students as well as among the students. Should a family endure a hardship, the school families will rally for that particular family and help in many ways as well as lifting that family up in prayer.
