Cristo Rey is a school that many kids don't usually chose themselves but later on learn to love it because of everything the school has to offer. Cristo Rey has many clubs and activities that make you be involved and also help grow your relationships. It consist of a small amount of students compared to many other school which is the plus because the smaller the school the better the relationships between the students. The downside is that there is no diversity between cultures. Cristo Rey is amazing school that may not be your first choice but it is a school that you may learn to love!

Cristo Rey High School focuses on Community, Christian Faith, and College preparation. The school is a guide for students entering into the "real world". They offer invaluable work experience through their work-study program and an academic program set to prepare them for college. They allow people who don't practice the Christian faith to learn about beliefs and values. The staff at Cristo Rey work hard to educate their students to the best of their ability. I appreciated my time at Cristo Rey because it felt like I was in a community of friends and family. Although it is a small school, every student can make a big impact.
The school is small and that comes with advantages and disadvantages. Since it’s small everyone knows each other and people become close, but there aren’t as many options for clubs and there is no library. The school tries to make up for that with different service hour opportunities but there isn’t many extra curricular activities to choose from.
