My experience with Cristo Rey Atlanta Jesuit High School in Atlanta (CRAJHS), Georgia, was great! During the beginning of my summer break, I "shadowed" a student. CRAJHS uses the term "shadow" because new possible incoming students get to follow a student of CRAJHS around to his or her classes until after lunch to experience what being a CRAJHS student would be like. When I completed my shadowing, I decided to go to CRAJHS. Later, during my summer break, I took a test and interview to get in and later got a package to find that CRAJHS accepted me! I then attended CRAJHS' summer academy for incoming Freshman which was very fun in which we played educational games or just normal games. Finally, it was time to go to school to learn for four years.
All of my teachers were nice, helped me understand whenever I needed help, understanding when situations come up, listen when we want to say something, and they can be friends who hang out in their classrooms and talk after school.

I love the fact that Cristo Rey goes beyond to provide their students the knowledge and skills that they would need in the future. I am now a senior at the school and I have absolutely love it. Cristo Rey provide internships, which allowed me to attend a college prep school without worrying much about financial issues. The internship program also allow me to develops relationships, up to the CEO and gain many working skills. I came into Cristo Rey knowing I would have to sacrifice my time and sleep, because the school is a challenge. However, I am who I am today because of Cristo Rey and I’m forever grateful.
Cristo Rey prepares you for college. They strive to get 100% college acceptance and so love that! They also have a Corporate Work Study Program which places students in the corporate life. However, sometimes Cristo Rey isn’t that good. There is a lot of division between students and sometimes students don’t have a voice at the school.
